ABG Building Solutions has over 20 years of experience in the design, manufacture and supply of blue and green roof systems. ABG is recognised as having designing and installing the first blue roof in the United Kingdom, with the first installation taking place at the University of Huddersfield. Since then, ABG has provided more than one million square metres of blue roof systems to projects across the UK and internationally.
The company manufactures more than 2.5 million square metres of drainage products per year at its West Yorkshire facility. ABG is accredited to ISO quality management accreditations and holds memberships with several industry bodies, including the Green Roof Organisation (GRO), CIRIA and BALI.

Extensive green roofs can retain up to 80% of annual rainfall, helping achieve SuDS compliance and the creation of sustainable urban environments. Intensive green roof systems accommodate deeper substrates suitable for more substantial planting and amenity roof gardens.
